Welcome to River Tall Theatre Productions, founded in 2016 and nestled in the heart of the mid-Ulster region, near the tranquil banks of the River Blackwater. Our roots lie in the picturesque townland of Clonmore on the Armagh side of the river, known for its expansive meadows and rich history.
Led by local playwright and visionary Gerry Cunningham, River Tall has captivated audiences across the UK and Ireland with our thought-provoking productions. Gerry’s evocative storytelling serves as a beacon, shedding light on our collective history, from bygone eras to recent events.
At River Tall, we believe in the power of political theatre to spark conversation and inspire reflection. Through our honest and non-judgmental approach, we aim to confront the complexities of our past, recognising that it shapes our present and future.
